Had a fantastic RSHE twilight training session yesterday with the staff at Dawpool CE primary who were lovely to work with and saw the importance of teaching the new content in the updated guidance. Training primary teachers is one of my favourite ways to spend an afternoon and I had the added joy of being able to visit the beautiful tulip farm next door on my way there with my longtime pal Eden.

I’m very late in the day to be sharing this blog for Autism Acceptance month but managed to pen a few words this morning before heading off to deliver training.

Two of Bee Informed’s priorities for this summer term are based around offering twilight training for mainstream primary and SEND schools, as well as lessons on self esteem across all key stages to tie in with the theme of RSE Day 2026. If your school is interested in any of these, please contact Rachel @gmail.com or take a look at cherubteacherrshe.co.uk

Just a reminder that schools can get high quality and up to date RSHE training before the new statutory updates to the DfE guidance take effect this September. Do get in touch if your school would like to know more about this.

Friends who work in schools and who follow this page, please let your colleagues know about these new materials that are now out for RSE Day 2026. I’ve loved working on these with the Achieve Well Team for schools to download and use with pupils. Take a look at the RSE Day website and place your school on the interactive map to show how you will be celebrating the day!
The RSE Day resources for 2026 have been released! There are resources for primary, secondary and parents/carers all available for free at www.rseday.com. They centre around this years theme of 'It begins with me', a great opportunity to start planning how you’ll get involved this year.

So for the past several weeks I’ve been busy working with the Nottingham Council Achieve Well Team, preparing for schools to use some materials around self-esteem, respect and kindness to others for this year’s RSE Day theme ‘It Begins With Me.’ The national day is on June 25th but resources are now up on the RSE Day website ready for schools to download and use. If your school would like any sessions on self esteem, I’m also offering these for a very special discount of 50% leading up to RSE Day, and twilight teacher training bookings are also available for the same reduction.
RSE Day - RSE Day
RSE Day is a day to celebrate great Relationships and S*x Education in schools and other settings. RSE Day takes place on the last Thursday in June each year. In 2026 RSE Day will be held on Thursday 25th June.
