✨ Exciting News at HETTY Preschool! ✨
We are incredibly proud to share that a member of our team, Luke Hughes, is now a published author! 📚
Luke has recently released his first children’s book, Sutton the Squirrel: Saves for Winter!, and has very kindly dedicated it to the children of HETTY 💛
This is a wonderful achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of him. We are all looking forward to seeing what he creates next!
If you would like to purchase a copy, the book is available on Amazon:

Luke has also generously offered to sign copies—just bring your book into HETTY and he’ll be happy to add a personal touch ✍️
Well done, Luke—what an amazing accomplishment! 🌟

It will be an informal session with a video to watch and then discussion questions, probably in small groups depending on the numbers of parents/carers that sign up.
Mrs Bowes and Mrs Chester from HETTY will be leading the sessions along with Mrs Jeffs and Mrs Cooper from Hoole CE Primary School. We would really love as many of you to come along and take part in what we are sure will be a great time sharing experiences and hopefully getting some good advice, support and tactics to help with what can often be such a challenging time! If you would like to come along, the first session takes place next Wednesday 5th March and we will be looking at 'Setting Boundaries.' Please book by emailing [email protected] to reserve your place.

Our topic focus this week has been about oral health and the children have had so much fun finding out about how to keep their teeth clean and healthy. They had a letter from the tooth fairy, learnt lots of songs, scrubbed teeth in the playground, had a pretend dental surgery and took part in lots of activities to emphasise the importance of oral health.

Thank you Chloe for bringing Winston in to see us for Dinosaur Week. The children were captivated by him.
