Generations of former pupils returned to Delamere C of E Academy this week to share their memories and celebrate an incredible 180 years of the village school.

Delamere first opened its doors in 1846 and, for the past 180 years, generations of children have learned, grown and made memories here.

It was incredibly special to welcome so many former pupils back to Delamere and to see different generations coming together to celebrate a school that means so much to so many people.

Wow! This is amazing 📚👏

📚 Reading Challenge Complete! 📚

One of our pupils read an incredible number of books during the summer holidays - so many that, when he stacked them up, they were towering over him! 🤩📖

What an amazing achievement and a wonderful example of reading for pleasure. We are so proud! 🌟👏
