The quality of teaching is very high, the whole group has progressed significantly over the course of the last several months. I have learned a significant amount of the language and culture. I feel much more confident to travel and converse in Spanish. I would recommend Spanish Lessons in Surrey to others, however, it depends on the amount of time they have available. I wouldn’t recommend trying to fit in the necessary hours to learn during the working week if you are in a demanding role, this becomes very challenging, very quickly. Martha Jesty is an excellent Spanish teacher and has effectively managed the different learning styles and abilities throughout the group. She has made the classes as fun as they can with the resources we have available at the office. Martha has gone to great lengths to explain all of the nuances between Spanish and Latin American language and culture, which she knows is important for us as employees. She has also passed on many lessons about HOW we can be better learners, providing methods to increase our ability to retain language, which from what I can see has worked for myself and other members of the learning group. Martha Jesty is a fantastic language coach and I’ve really enjoyed the lessons we’ve had together so far.

The quality of the teaching has been great, very clearing explaining the grammar and vocabulary in a way which is easy to learn. I have learned a lot about grammar that I haven't learned before which has even really useful to understand the language better. Martha Jesty was able to provide as much support as needed to all students. Martha has always made learning fun, encouraging us to learn by using our own real life scenarios when speaking Spanish, which was really helpful and a fun way to learn. Martha is always keen and adamant that we apply the best way of learning Spanish and that we don't translate words as we go through. This is a new way of learning for me but I can see why it's as effective as it is. Martha is a great teacher, always making learning fun and interactive. Ensuring we fully understand before we move on to the next step

“Martha Jesty is very knowledgeable and engaging in her teaching style. She encourages you to speak and get used to using the language. Every week we covered a different subject, meaning every week there is new homework to help reinforce you learning. I have found my understanding and knowledge of Spanish has increased over the course of the class. The trick will be to keep up the study after the lessons finish! If I had problems with attending the class, or questions about what we had learned, Martha is always available to contact through the dedicated WhatsApp group for our class or by email. If you are serious about learning Spanish, I would definitely recommend Spanish Lessons in Surrey. Martha makes learning fun and employs various different techniques to help learn and retain information. She has a firm understanding of the differences between European and Latin American and the cultures relating to them. Martha is obviously an experienced teacher and takes the time to plan her lessons in accordance with the skill level of the class.
