Children learn through play and in our setting interactive and stimulating play is a key feature of our time together. Indoors our activities range from arts and crafts to games with specific learning goals. Structured role play (creating a shop, hotel, school) and games following a certain theme (e.g. animals) are organised to stimulate conversation and language development. We use themes such as nursery rhymes, seasons, stories, weather, jobs and our activities will often be connected to this theme. We put a lot of thought into the activities we do and give children a choice of activities to choose from. As well as being a lot of fun we have a range of toys which promote language development, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, balance, social skills as well as cultural and disability awareness. To monitor each child’s development they are given a diary which we write in daily to give you an insight into the type of day your child has had. we include meals, activities, naps, achievements – anything of note. Each child also has a learning file which we use to keep track of drawings, paintings, notes about behaviour, development and achievements. As well as enabling us to plan and evaluate each child’s learning and development these folders make lovely mementos of our time together. As we are Ofsted registered it is our responsibility to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage which is designed to monitor and encourage the development of pre school children, the daily diary and learning file enable us to do this. Our hourly rate is £7.65 per hour (at least 4 hours per day) and our working hours are from 8am – 6pm. Breakfast, lunch, juice, milk, formula, snacks, baby wipes, barrier cream, nappy bags and nappies are all included in fees. Dinner can also be provided for an additional £2:15 per day or you can provide a prepared meal if you prefer. We are able to offer a sibling discount and can provide information about receiving help with childcare costs. Emergency Care – Priced on individual basis

Mummy ‘Me Time’ Sessions – we offer sessions from 2 – 6 hours duration every Friday afternoon which can be booked as a one off or regular session. These are designed to give hard working mums a break but can also be beneficial in getting your baby / child used to a childcare setting. Prices are £8.50 per hour. For ad hoc care of less than 3 hours we charge £8 per hour. We accept tax free childcare and offer 15 and 30 hours funding to qualifying children.
