I’ve been considering what type of structure to include at the Growga plot

- something forest bathe friendly
- not a greenhouse
- weather and tree shrapnel resilient
- good for plant storage in winter
- not a shed with no windows
- a place to relax
- a place of shelter

I have stumbled on these and others with wooden frames

Guess what was next to the concrete stump… another one ?!
I pretended not to see it and have put the pond in

Now to build up and add to it

Needing pebbles, rockery, pond plants 🌱

The four frogs 🐸 I found will be happy when it’s done ✅

An olive tree and some strawberries went in the ground today
The olive tree will guide part of the pathway somehow

Also I noticed the bullace that fell last winter and I propped up - has fruit! Even with my pruning - super hardy and I’m glad it has survived

Finally the images show a concrete fence post remnant right where I want my pond

This is the universe saying *are you sure you really want this*

And so I’m digging it out and eating apples 🍎 for energy

A moment at the plot
It’s filled with insects and today I planted an apple tree for Leelu my little yellow rescued gecko 🦎 who passed this year

My grief for her given to the Earth while planting something that will give fruit is the very least I can do for her

Rest well Leelu. Excited for your apples 🍎

We have been planting trees on a farm and dog rescue site, also some hedging at the allotment which is currently being cared for by an amazing woman and her dog while we galavant a little

It will be interesting to see how the saplings hold up in thick clay surrounded by livestock and sandy loam at the coast

Absolutely tiring work but completely satisfying and rich for the land
