Day 4 - breakfast ✅ then off pioneering- yes, we built catapults. We designed and built shelters and tried to sell them as real estate to the adults. Some had en suites, others had door knockers and a chandelier.
In the afternoon, after a hearty lunch 🍽️ of lasagne, we tested our camaraderie and head for heights by climbing Jacob’s Ladder and performing a Leap of Faith.
Our final night was spent by the campfire🔥telling cheese related jokes and singing Backstreet Boys.

A very mindful morning for Y6 Activity Week, where we practised a range of art techniques ready to create our own graffiti art canvasses. In the afternoon, we totally chilled out in our PJs and watched a movie, with popcorn and squash!

Sports betting has become increasingly visible online, appearing across apps, websites, social media, sports coverage and gaming spaces.

Even when young people are not legally old enough to gamble, they may still encounter betting messages through adverts, influencers, tipsters, friends or adult accounts.

Our latest guide highlights key risks, including:
• Easy online access
• Gambling becoming normalised around sport
• Peer and influencer pressure
• Free bet offers
• Impulsive spending and chasing losses

It also offers practical advice for parents, carers and educators on starting calm conversations, setting safer digital boundaries, spotting warning signs and finding support.

Woodrow Day 3
After a restful night we were up and out early ready for another action packed day. We took part in a low ropes activity where we learned how to harness all the equipment correctly to construct an adventure course. Then we took part in Nightline, where we were blindfolded and had to use our senses and good communication to travel round an obstacle course. Finally, we tested our logistical skills against a set of puzzles and had to work together to solve the challenges.
