Today I took Sam over to Springbank Community Group CiC for a trial volunteer shift. Wow, he got stuck in within 2 minutes of arriving. Thank you so much to Jacqui for supporting him. Well done Sam 👏

Busy morning today. Up early to do the Springbank run then onto meet the lovely Kaitlin at Morrisons. Kaitlin has joined my new Next Steps with Josie programme so today we stuck to the shopping list (no impulsive spending allowed on my watch), she made a macaroni cheese with a foccacia & parmesan topping & did the washing up without being asked :) Well done Kaitlin 👏

I'm having a bit of a crazy week. Mindy Pickering & I started back Lift Crescent View yesterday. What a fantastic start to the term. The children were fabulous & we got to meet Tim the tortoise who was having a little holiday at the school 🐢

I've had a planning meeting at St Paul's to discuss our literature festival event. Please put the date in your diary - Wed 14th Oct 4-5pm in the huddle. I've spent 7 hours so far completing the longest & most comprehensive funding form I've ever done (think dissertation length!). What with volunteering, sorting out absolutely everything at home, the car & our massive garden while Tim's away (not the tortoise), I feel ready for break!

Yesterday's class didn't entirely go to plan. One attendee turned up who was fab, not really sure what happened to everyone else. All was not lost though, between us we made 10 cheesecakes & distributed them around the residents :)

I've had an absolutely fabulous weekend away in Rhossili with my 5 besties from school. Now back with Mindy Pickering planning classes Lift Crescent View as we're back next Tuesday & we can't wait :)

Today I took the lovely Sam to Springbank to talk about volunteering in the cafe. He had a great morning meeting all the staff & volunteers & also helped bag up 100s of teabags ready for the shop. Well done Sam 👏

I am absolutely delighted to have partnered with Cheltenham Borough Council Homes, Art Shape, Tesco & the St Paul's residents to produce this wonderful cookery book. It's been a labour of love for us all :)

This is a FREE EVENT !!!

Join us to hear from local families and community partners about how cooking, sharing skills, and swapping stories brought this wonderful cookbook to life. Packed with recipes created in family cooking workshops and contributed by residents, it's a true celebration of community.

There will be an opportunity to buy the cookbook after the event with all book sales going to the St.Paul's Residents Association to fund future activities and events
