Yesterday I completed my refresher for Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work. It was a brilliant course, yet again, run by Tidal Training in the new Hub MX building. Great to grab a couple of coffees from Moosh Coffee Co. too :)

Can you help support my cooking classes? I'm raising more funding to continue classes Lift Crescent View a school for children who have social, emotional & mental health needs. Mindy Pickering & I will start our fifth year at the school next term & have a funding gap. The work we have achieved with these children has been amazing, the children & teachers love it & the skills the children are using will help them not just with their cookery skills but with their future, whatever they decide to do. If you can afford to do so please consider a small donation. Mindy & I would be extremely grateful 🙏 :)

Absolutely fabulous session Lift Crescent View with the year 6s. I don't think we've ever seen a class so focussed. We made pesto pasta packed full of veg along with garlic bread. Apparently it was the best session ever!

So lovely to see the group of children outside engrossed in putting together new raised wooden beds for their vegetable patch. They were on it with the electric screwdrivers :)

This morning Harvey & I made cookies for a meeting his parents have. Obviously he licked the bowl out! Then I had a lovely swim at the Lido, just got home to find Charlie fast asleep & he has an exam at 130pm. Kids eh! :)

A busy morning today doing my volunteering duties. A car load of food from Tesco for Springbank Community Group CiC , a chat & a cuppa with my daughter & a sort out with Claire who runs the Springbank Community allotment for our session in August. Then on to School House Café to meet Rachel Dickinson & to donate 20 bottles of fizzy water (saved from Lidl) & a lovely catch up with Jude Parkin Sarah Avery & Andy Tibbs. If you know any community projects who may like a donation of fizzy water please let me know. We have loads!

Well it's been a good day so far! Cooking with Harvey this morning making a smokey bean chilli to have for their lunch, onto the Lido for my first swim in 6 months after battling with a frozen shoulder & then my Charlie drove us up to Dunkertons for a coffee in his birthday car (well he's sharing it with me till he passes his test then we'll fight over it). Now catching up on paperwork :)

Back with the St Paul's Energy project today in Manser Street. We've made vegetable frittata & chocolate chip cookies. I love this group, they are always enthusiastic & full of fun :) So proud to be part of this award winning project. Thanks so much to Daisy for doing a brilliant job assisting me & to Ali for everything you do :)

This morning Mindy Pickering & I have been back Lift Crescent View with 6 fantastic year 6s. The pizzas looked fabulous & we even had some pizza pinwheels made too (photos to follow). The group couldn't have been more chilled out, totally focused & an absolute delight to teach 😀

With thanks to Cheltenham Borough Council for their funding for this project :)
