🌳 Party in the Park 🌳
A Woodmancote Tradition

Today! Wednesday 22nd July 2026, marks the last day of term. For several years now, our school families and local community have gathered to celebrate the end of another academic year and the start of summer together in the park.

About this tradition:
This is a community-led gathering, born from parents' initiative after COVID. It's not an official school or PTA event, just a cherished tradition we've built and continue to pass on.

Join us:
➡️ Woodmancote Park
➡️ From 3.15pm
➡️ Bring a blanket, sunscreen, picnic, chair, and a bin liner to take your rubbish home

What's there:
✅ 2 ice cream vans
✅ Coffee van (iced coffees and cakes)
✅ Support our local shop for treats

A special year ahead:
This year is particularly meaningful as the COVID cohort leave primary school 💚

In keeping with tradition:
Please be considerate of our neighbours. Let's respect one another and celebrate together.

Urgent Message from the PTA

Hi everyone 👋

Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside of our control, we’ve had to cancel the Easter Disco that was due to take place on 23rd April.

We know this will be disappointing, and we’re really sorry for any inconvenience caused. The good news is that we’re planning to reschedule it for after half term, and we’ll share the new date as soon as it’s confirmed.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support 💛
