Our EYFS unit is all set up and ready for all our lovely children to start tomorrow. All staff have worked incredibly hard to transform the rooms into a fabulous calming set up for the children to learn and explore in.

In Reception this week the children are reading the story ‘Zog’ and learning all about castles. The children have loved looking in a real castle using the iPads, labelling the castles and playing knights and dragons.

In Nursery this week we are reading ‘Duck in the Truck’ to start our transport topic. We have been making track marks in paint, mark marking with cars and pens, experimenting with the speed of the cars, matching cars to the car parking space and sorting old and new transport.

Mother’s Day Tea Party 🎉
Reception class invited their mums into school today for a tea party. The children made sandwiches, scones, jam tarts and butterfly cakes. The children started the tea party by singing to their mums and then gave them cards and pictures they had made this week. The party was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved. 💐
