As we get ready for our first ever Colour Run on Friday, we’d like to extend a huge thank-you to Bourton Barbers for joining LJS windows and doors and CR Home Cleaner in sponsoring one of our Colour Stations. We are so grateful for your support!

This Saturday is fete day in Upper Rissington, and we couldn’t be prouder to be flying the FORS flag and raising lots of money to support The Rissington School.

We have four wonderful stalls returning this year. The Bottle and Teddy Tombolas will be generously stocked by very kind donations from our school community. Hook a Duck is sponsored by Thomson & Bancks Solicitors, and the Wheel of Fortune sponsor is Tayler & Fletcher Estate Agents and Chartered Surveyors. This is the fourth year in a row we have been supported by the amazing teams at both of these brilliant local companies.

Cotswold Estate Agents Tayler & Fletcher are a long-established firm of Chartered Surveyors, Property Consultants and Auctioneers offering clients advice on residential, rural and commercial property for sale and to let.

Thomson & Bancks Solicitors are local, trusted and dedicated solicitors. They offer a high quality legal service provided by a dedicated team of highly qualified legal practitioners. Aided by the latest information technology, their administration and practice is modern, practical, fast and efficient.

We love sports day! Well done to all the children for taking part, either in a race or by cheering on. Thank you to parents and family/friends for supporting the children (and staff race) so enthusiastically!

🏕️ A fantastic day in the sunny woods, filled with learning about first aid, practicing first aid on the teachers and playing games! We’ve got the fires going and having pizzas for dinner! 🍕

🏕️ All children on Y4 residential have had a great first day! They set up camp, learned the rules of the forest, designed dens, made team flags and camouflaged their faces. It was fajitas for lunch followed by burgers cooked over an open fire for dinner. 🏕️

We had an eggstra-special visitor to school during the last week of term. None other than the rather fabulous Easter Bunny!!

This brilliant bunny danced and high-fived their way through every single class, distributing delicious chocolate Easter eggs to all the children for them to enjoy at home.

We wish all of our wonderful school community a very happy Easter 🐰🥕🐰
