Well done to a group of our Year 2 children who took part in a cricket event at William De Ferrers school this week. The team won every single match they played, well done, what an achievement. The children displayed excellent sporting attitude showing determination, resilience, kindness and team spirit the whole time.

Lot's of exciting activities happening at Danbury Outdoors today for our Year 6 residential.

What a great start to the Year 6 residential, the children are having lots of fun.

On Wednesday a group of children attended a training session at Swallows Gymnastics. The children really enjoyed the session and learnt some fantastic new skills.

Axolotl had an amazing Egyptian day last week which included exploring the flavours of ancient Egypt, designing and creating a pneumatics-powered sarcophagus and creating some delicious sweet bread.

Well done to a group of Year 6 children who took part in a World Book Day themed quiz at South Woodham Ferrers Library on Thursday and through great teamwork became this year's champions!

What a fantastic way to end the week!

All our children had the amazing opportunity to try their hand at curling today - a sport featured in the Winter Olympics! 🏅

From learning how to sweep to aiming for the target, our pupils showed great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship. It's been wonderful to see them experience an Olympic sport first hand and develop new skills.

Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to Essex Kids Camp for delivering the sessions.

Well done to the Year 6 boys team who achieved first place this week at the football competition at WDF.
