A bit about me / my classes...
👋 I'm a enthusiastic and experienced teacher - I used Hypnobirthing to have my own 3 children and my biggest is now 11. I trained to teach it after my second birth back in 2013 so have been teaching in the birthing world now for 9 years. I am a trained secondary teacher too so teaching has always been a big part of what I do!
🤗 This year I have totally re-written my course. My new course incorporates all my experience and knowledge and is totally up to date. It is a hugely helpful guide to birthing in the NHS and will provide you with so many tools to make your birth awesome 🥳.
🏡 I teach from a gorgeous venue -
🍰 I bake for all my classes(!). I love to look after you and baking you fresh delicious cake each week is just one way of me doing this 🥰. (For zoom courses I courier it out!).
🙌 I keep my group classes small (max 6 women and their birth partner).
🥳 Starting a course any time from 20 weeks pregnant is a great idea.

B I R T H D A Y C O M E B A C K

Slipping back into the world of insta today on my birthday. I've got kinda comfy off social media over the summer and one of my birthday goals for this year is to push myself out of my comfort zone daily and see where it takes me! So here I am 😊

So far today this has seen me have my first ever Bloody Mary with my brunch and I can safely say I thought it was disgusting 😅🤣. Are any of you fans?! It felt like I was drinking cold tomato soup 🙈

Lots of exciting things coming up over the next few weeks which I'll share but for now hope you are all having a brilliant start to your September 🥳.

Hey! Have you heard about the choir and I are launching this Friday?!

I've talked about it in my stories but thought it definitely warranted it's own square!

It is absolutely open to anyone, young or old, tone deaf or amazing, bring your baby, bring your Grandad ... you get the gist!! There will be toys out for little ones and chairs for those who need to sit.

It is at the which is right next to the so cake and tea pit stop will be essential afterwards 🤣.

First session is free and then £2 subs from there.

Tell your friends! And do not worry if you plan to come on your own, you will be so welcome.

N E X T T U E S D A Y !

If you fancy meeting up with fellow small business owners, and I are hosting a brunch at Chelmsford next Tuesday 7th June 9.30 - 11.30 am.

This is a totally relaxed and informal meet, intended to give you the chance to chat face to face and get to know each other better. So many awesome collaborations have come about through businesses meeting in The Village. You would be so welcome if you wanted to come and join us on Tuesday 🥳🥳, no need to be a member.

F R E E C L A S S

I run a free class roughly every 6 weeks to act as an intro to Hypnobirthing and the next one is next Wednesday 🥳🥳

In this class I explain what Hypnobirthing is and why it is a huge game changer in prepping for birth.

I will teach you the most important tool for birth .... how to breathe during contractions.

I will teach you and your birth partner 3 wonderful massage techniques which will help you hugely in labour.

I will read you a beautiful deep relaxation to help you switch off and recharge. The perfect state to be in when you birth.

I'll answer any questions about birth you might have.

I'll encourage you to eat cake and drink tea! These classes are informal and relaxed (normally I would provide the cake but it's a bit tricky over Zoom!).

If you are expecting a baby this week or later this year you are so welcome to come.

It is free.
It is at 8pm on Wednesday 18th May.
Birth partners are invited too.

We are so excited to have the incredibly inspiring Abi Hugo speaking at The Village this month - LIVE on Zoom at 7.30pm tonight (Thursday 5th May) 🌟🤩🌟

Abi has experienced phenomenal success in growing her business and inspires us with her DIY skills every day, along with her expertise on using social media to grow and nurture an audience 🌻

She is going to be sharing her personal story and sharing the business growth secrets of her success. And she will be taking your questions too so get ready to pick her brains 😁

T O M O R R O W !

We have a brilliant guest tomorrow morning in The Village - Sally Holmes of . She is a powerhouse of organisation in business and is coming in to help us work more efficiently and 'smarter'. If you can work in a more streamlined and efficient way you will not only have more time (the dream!) but are also likely to earn more money (bonus!). This is going to be such a beneficial session 🙌.

Sally has been giving me business support over the last month and her help has been utterly transformational.

She will be on from 9.30 am on zoom for a half hour of top tips.

W E L C O M E T O A P R I L I N T H E V I L L A G E!

Our April theme is 'spring cleaning' and this has many elements and possibilities! Essentially we are all about decluttering and ordering this month both in our homes, our businesses and our heads and seeking greater balance in our lives as a result. Feeling overwhelmed by our lives really impacts upon our wellbeing and this is always an important focus in The Village.

We have the truly fabulous
leading on our theme. She is a treasured member of The Village and is by trade a professional organiser and is BLOODY AMAZING at it.

THURSDAY 7.30 pm over zoom is our main meeting for the month. Louise will be helping us with taking control of our time and space and focusing on how you use your home and your time.
Themes include:
- Time planning
- How you can simplify
- Room thoughts - general tips
- Wellbeing and the home
and a whole lot more!
This is powerful stuff .... a calmer life brings much needed headspace when we are juggling all our priorities.

TUESDAY 19TH on zoom. We have the brilliant leading a session on decluttering our minds and finding peace and clarity.

TUESDAY 26TH on zoom. Sally Holmes from is coming in to give us her top tips on hacks to keep your business running in the most efficient way possible and free up your time. (She is a GENIUS at this 🙌).

Y E S S S S S

Such HUGE congratulations to this absolute superstar second time mum 🥳🥳. She was part of my wonderful January group and came to the course wanting to create a positive experience for her second birth after a traumatic first experience.

My heart was full this morning when she messaged to announce her birth. I couldn't be more thrilled that she had a positive experience this time. So, so, sooooo happy.

I have a face to face refresher next month set up for second (or third, fourth or fifth!) time parents. It is a 'hybrid' course whereby you get an hour 1:1 with me via zoom first to debrief your first birth. Then two 2.5 hour in-person group sessions to get you up and running (waddling?!) and feeling super positive and prepared for your next birth.

S O M U C H G O O D S T U F F !

and I have been busy organising some more fantastic meet ups for small business owners 🙌 . All are welcome at our Village meets, you don't have to be a member to come.

TUESDAY 7TH JUNE 9.30 am. VILLAGE BRUNCH!

Where?! Bills, Chelmsford. They do the most DELICIOUS brunches. This will be a chance to informally network, eat a delicious brunch and generally hang out with the best bunch of people. (not that I’m biased!). This won’t be ticketed, just pay for what you eat and drink.

SATURDAY 9TH JULY. VILLAGE RE-‘TREAT’.

Final details being tied up so for now it’s hush hush! But start getting excited for a brilliant Saturday of nurturing and fun. This is more about YOU than business. Let’s give you a day off.
