Did you know that the RSPB have a wealth of resources to help you with your outdoor learning and nature connection journey?

Last year I did the Nature Prescription training and, whilst it goes without saying that nature played the leading role in our forest school life, I've now introduced it into my Walks for Wellbeing.

So much fun to see adults interacting and enjoying the challenge as much as the children did.

Who says we have to be grown ups when we grow up?!

I recommend having a look at these resources - all free on the RSPB website.

Forget Valentine's - roll on Pancake Day! The perfect excuse to eat as many pancakes as you like!!

Scotch pancakes are my favourite over the campfire (or on the hob).

Here's the recipe we use for about 20:

250g gf self raising flour
50g brown sugar
4 tsp baking powder
300g oat milk (though I think you're not supposed to call it milk anymore ๐Ÿ˜œ listening to yesterday)

And hopefully this is a recipe that most people can have. Totally delicious, especially when you add lemon and more sugar. ๐Ÿ˜‹

How exciting is it to actually receive a letter through the post? We just don't get letters these days. I received my Letters for Little Heroes post just before Christmas (and thanks to the Christmas post just after our final forest school session!!).

It's a great pack bursting with information about someone in history - in this case Horatio Nelson. Super high quality on 3 doubled sided sheets, with a separate fact sheet and a collectable top trumps style card. What a lovely way to get excited about history. With different figures being featured, it's a great way to build up a good collection over a period of time.

I was lucky enough to be gifted my letter pack and I'd love to pass on the love to someone who will get lots of use out of it, so if you think this would be a great addition to your educational resources, give a follow and pop an emoji below. Someone will be selected at random on Monday at 10am and I'll post off to you next week.

Well done for creating such an interesting educational resource. ๐Ÿ’š

This is not linked to anything else on here, and I won't ask for any payment, send links or anything like that, so please be aware of anyone doing that. Running across Instagram and Facebook.
