Vine Schools Trust

This week, we are delighted to launch our partnership with YouthShoots at St Leonard's C of E Primary School, hosting the first day of an inspiring Resilience Reps training programme, with pupils from St Nicholas Primary School, Tillingham , St Cedd's C of E Primary School and Christchurch C of E Primary School also taking part.

Across the programme, designed for young people across all 21 of our schools, pupils will develop their self-confidence, strengthen their understanding of wellbeing, and grow the communication and leadership skills needed to support others as positive peer role models.

It was a brilliant first day and we are excited to see these young leaders continue to grow in confidence over the coming sessions.

We look forward to bringing this impactful training to the rest of our Trust in the weeks ahead.

The Key Stage One children at St. Leonard's were very fortunate this week to be able to take part in some mosaic workshops. The outcome of their hard work was to produce a wonderful mosaic representing the areas for which our scool buildings are named - Orchard and Meadows.

We love it so much that we have asked our PTA to buy us a special glass case, so that the mosaic can be displayed outside at the front of our school. We can't wait to see this in pride of place very soon.

Big thanks go also to the Hackblock Educational Charity for helping to fund the workshops as a part of their contribution towards enrichment for the pupils at St. Leonard's School

A huge thank you to Amy and the team at Asda for supporting St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School, Weeley by supplying sand for their new sand pit.

We love seeing our schools supported by local businesses in ways that help children flourish beyond the classroom. 🌱

When Jodie from St Andrews primary school in Weeley contacted me about their new sand pit I was happy to help. The school had been donated a sand pit and needed some sand to fill it, Asda Clacton donated 7 bags of sand and can’t wait to see the children enjoying it.

Emma will be joining sector leaders from across the country and delivering a keynote on the Diocese of Chelmsford Vine Schools Trust journey.
