☀️Make the most of sunny days with simple activities that cost little or nothing to set up. ☀️

☀️🌡️ Hot Weather Reminder 🌡️☀️

With temperatures expected to rise over the next few days, we would like to remind families to help us keep our children safe and comfortable in the warm weather.

💧 Please ensure your child brings a clearly labelled water bottle each day.
🧢 Sun hats should be brought in and named.
🧴 Please apply a long-lasting sunscreen before your child arrives at preschool (staff can support with reapplication if consent has been provided).
👕 Dress your child in light, cool clothing suitable for warm weather.
🌳 Throughout the day, we will encourage regular water breaks, make use of shaded areas, and adapt activities to keep everyone cool and comfortable.

Children can become overheated very quickly, so please be aware of the signs of heat exhaustion, including tiredness, headaches, dizziness, nausea, and unusual sleepiness or irritability.
