We're going pink to raise money for Breast Cancer Now, and we'd love everyone to join in on the final day of term!

How to take part:

🩷 Non Uniform Day - Wear something pink if you can — a top, a scarf, a pair of socks, anything goes!
No make-up, face paint, or hair dye, please — just your own pink clothing.

The Dot - Peter H. Reynolds

"Just make a mark and see where it takes you."

In this inspiring, award-winning story of self-expression and creativity, Peter H. Reynolds reaches out to anyone who has ever felt they "can't draw."

Mrs Peat has brought this message to the art dept here at Fairlands and has inspired all of our pupils to draw their dot and establish their sense of belonging.

It really does make quite the statement along the walls and brings joy to many pupils, who spend their social time trying to find their dot!

Today is "World Teacher's Day", also known as International Teachers' Day. It is a day dedicated to honouring and appreciating the contributions of educators worldwide.

The day provides an opportunity to recognize the crucial role that all teachers play.

We pay tribute to our brilliant teaching team and thank them for their dedication to educating the young people of Fairlands.

The Mid Somerset Consortium is a School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT), offering primary and secondary teacher training courses across Somerset and the surrounding areas.

With the MSC, you will train in a school from the start, gaining real school experience while working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE.

We are part of The Wessex Learning Trust, based in Crispin School.
