📚✨ Wishing everyone the very best on A Level Results Day!

Everyone at North Mids Maths Hub would like to wish all schools and post-16 providers across our region the best of luck as students receive their A Level results.

We also want to recognise the commitment of school and college leaders, teachers and wider teams who have supported students throughout their post-16 education. Your dedication, encouragement and hard work make a real difference.

Results Day is an important opportunity to celebrate students’ achievements, reflect on everything that has gone into supporting them, and look ahead to the next stage of their journey.

Our office is now closed for the summer break ☀️

As another fantastic year comes to a close, we'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has worked with us, taken part in one of our projects or collaborated with us. It's been a brilliant year, and we've really enjoyed working with you all.

We'll be taking a short break and will be back on the 1st September, refreshed and ready for another exciting year ahead!

Congratulations to John Westwell NCETM who completed his 40-40-40 challenge of running 40 Parkruns in 40 Maths Hub areas by the end of the academic year, celebrating his 40th year working in education. 👏

Bringing our Maths Hub community together!

This morning, we welcomed our Local Leaders of Maths Education (LLME) to their summer conference.

It was a fantastic opportunity for colleagues from across all phases to connect, collaborate and share ideas. Through thoughtful discussions, shared learning and plenty of networking, we celebrated the collective expertise within our Maths Hub community and explored how we can continue to support great maths education together.

And, of course, no conference is complete without cake! 🍰

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such an engaging and inspiring morning.

⏰ Primary schools, good news! There's still time to apply to join a Mastering Number at Reception and KS1 Work Group for 2026/27, but be quick, the deadline has been extended to Friday 10th July 2026.

Schools taking part benefit from:
