A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our inaugural Charlbury Garage Sale yesterday — what a brilliant afternoon! ☀️

We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and it was amazing to see so many people out and about around town, browsing, chatting and getting involved.

Far more people hosted sales and took part than we’d imagined, which was wonderful to see, and the cakes and refreshments at Pre-School were a huge hit too!

So thank you, so much, to everyone who baked, volunteered, sold, shopped, donated and helped spread the word.

All the money raised will go towards supporting our fabulous Pre-School and helping us keep this much-loved local setting going for Charlbury families.

We’re so grateful to everyone who played a part. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Stay & Play sessions over the summer! ☀️

It was so lovely to open the doors of Charlbury Pre-School during the holidays and welcome lots of families in – both familiar faces and plenty of new ones too.

We started the summer enjoying lots of sunshine and outdoor play, and by our final session the weather had us spending a little more time inside… a sure sign that it must be nearly time for the new term! 🌦️🍂

We hope everyone who came along had as much fun as we did. Thank you for making our summer Stay & Plays so lovely! 💛

20+ garage sale stalls will be popping up around Charlbury from 2–5pm — come for a rummage and see what treasures you can find!

Pick up a map from Charlbury Pre-School or Charlbury Community Centre on the day.

☕ Refreshments will be available at Charlbury Pre-School, with a Rekiddle pop-up from 11am–5pm. Got outgrown baby gear taking up space — prams, carriers, travel cots and more? Bring it along and Rekiddle will sell it on your behalf, helping you clear the clutter without the hassle.

So you can clear out, bag a bargain and make an afternoon of it! 💛

Rekiddle will be running a special pre-loved baby gear pop-up at Charlbury Pre-School from 11am–5pm, alongside the Garage Sale. Bring along prams, carriers, travel cots and other baby gear and Rekiddle will take care of inspecting, listing, selling and shipping it for you.

💚 And you can support the Pre-School just by taking part! When you register with Rekiddle, simply select Charlbury Pre-School from the drop-down menu and we'll receive a referral fee. Graduation picnic! 🎓💛

At the end of term we gathered for our annual Graduation Picnic, where we celebrated all of our children – especially those getting ready to take their next big step to primary school.

There were plenty of smiles (and a few happy tears, possibly!) as we sang our special Goodbye Song, presented each of our graduates with their certificates and gifts, and watched them proudly dress up in graduation gowns and mortar boards for some very special photos.

We are so proud of every single one of our children and all they have achieved this year. It has been a joy to watch their confidence, friendships and personalities grow.

To all our families moving on, thank you for being such an important part of the Charlbury Pre-School community. We wish you every happiness and success as you begin your next adventure at school. We'll miss you all!

Have a wonderful summer, and thank you to all our amazing staff, volunteers and families for another memorable year. 🌞

☀️ Summer Stay & Play is back at Charlbury Pre-School! ☀️

Looking for something to do over the summer? Come along to our friendly Stay & Play sessions for outdoor fun, crafts and a chance to meet other local families.

📅 Mondays: 27 July, 17 August & 24 August (9.30–11.00am), plus Tuesday 1st September.

Suggested donation £3 per child

🚌✨ End of term trip to Fairy Tale Farm!

Our children had a fantastic day out on a very special trip to Fairy Tale Farm last week.

After an exciting bus ride they enjoyed walking alpacas, stroking guinea pigs and rabbits, feeding the ducks, sheep and goats, and even cooling off with a refreshing spray from the dinosaur!

We rounded off our picnic lunch with a well-earned and cooling fruit ice lolly. 🍦🦙🐰🦆

The children were an absolute pleasure to take out, and we couldn't be prouder of how well they represented our Pre-School throughout the day.

A huge thank you to all our wonderful parent helpers for giving up their time to make this special trip possible, and to our staff for organising such a memorable experience.

What a lovely way to celebrate a fantastic year together. 💚🌞

Two of our local yoga teachers, Gabriella and Florence, have put together a series of classes this July to support the Pre-School - with every penny raised going straight to us💛

Join us for bouncy castles, crafts, games, ice lollies and plenty of family fun at the Charlbury B**r Fesvtival on Saturday!

We will be at the Children’s Corner at the event at the Cricket Club from 12.30pm–5pm.

With more sunshine forecast for the weekend, it’s set to be a great afternoon. We hope to see lots of school families there…
