On Friday, Mrs Hurley led a music assembly where those children who have music lessons were able to perform a piece of music to the school and their parents.
We are so impressed with how well they are doing and their ability to stand up in front of everyone to play 🎼🎸🎻

Anyone wishing to enquire about lessons can contact the school office who will put you in touch with Mrs Hurley.

In the Autumn term we will be welcoming Mrs Hurley back for KS2 class lessons which we are looking forward to!

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had to make a last minute decision to postpone this afternoons school performance due to the heat and the walk involved travelling up to the hall.

This decision has not been taken lightly and we are very sorry to cancel at such short notice.

We will be in contact asap with a new date and time for the performance one this has been decided.

Many Thanks for your support

This term, Ash Class has embarked on an exciting exploration of the United Kingdom! We have been learning about the four countries that make up our nation and their capitals, fostering a sense of national identity and local awareness. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

To make our learning more interactive, we have posed the question: “What can you discover about the United Kingdom?” This approach encourages curiosity and engagement. 🌍👀

BSM Fete and Thank You Message:

A huge thank you to everyone who supported this year’s village fete. It was wonderful to see so many people come together to enjoy the day, and the event was a great success. From the stalls and games to the refreshments and entertainment, there was a fantastic community spirit throughout. We are incredibly grateful to all the volunteers, stallholders, performers and everyone who attended and helped make the day such a success.

We raised £1280 for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. FOBS also raised £208 for their playground project.

Amazing results!
