Thornden, believes in more than just academic success —Belonging, Care, Aspiration & Achievement.
These values shape every experience our children have, from science chicks and sports kits to first aid training and reading programmes. And behind many of these, ensuring that they happen, is the support of our Parent Teacher Association — the Friends of Thornden School (FOTS).
Right now, out of 1500 students, just over 150 families have joined our donation scheme, and a little over 50 support us through Easy Fundraising. We’re incredibly grateful — but we know we can do more, together.
Imagine what we could achieve if we could encourage, just 50 more families to make a small regular donation...
We could fund more enriching experiences, upgrade equipment, and support every child in ways that go far beyond the classroom!

2025 Big Idea update-
Please ask your student to vote
Following our Big Idea campaign, which encouraged input from all students and staff, we’ve received over 60 suggestions! The goal was to ensure everyone in the school community could be heard and to identify proposals that truly need FOTS’s support. There are many excellent submissions, and we’ll be working with the school to address as many as we can. Although some requests fall outside of FOTS’s scope, every idea will be considered together with the school.
