We are open from 8am until 4pm Monday to Friday, offering 3 or more hourly sessions depending on each families individual needs

Last week the children enjoyed learning about road safety through a range of practical and engaging activities. They matched different people who help us in the community to the buildings where they work and explored a small town, moving cars along the roads while learning about zebra crossings and traffic lights and how to use them safely. The children also had a special visit from a lollipop person, who demonstrated the correct way to cross the road safely and explained the importance of stopping, looking, listening, and thinking before crossing.

Last week the children learnt about hospitals and the important roles of doctors and nurses in helping people stay healthy. They were very excited to start growing their plants and are looking forward to seeing them sprout over the next few days. The children enjoyed learning about how plants grow and what they need to thrive. They carefully planted nasturtium seeds in our flower beds, showing great enthusiasm and teamwork. Through this hands-on experience, they began to understand the importance of watering and caring for plants. They also had lots of fun taking part in a garden centre roleplay, where they pretended to be gardeners and shopkeepers, helping each other choose plants and tools.

Yesterday we celebrated Earth Day, we spoke to the children about why it is important to look after our planet, we talked to them about things they could do to help such as, ensure they put rubbish in the bin, turn off lights, look after plants and wild life. We painted pictures of Earth and explored in our garden, looking at leaves, listened and watched for birds and insects.
