Colour Run Success!
What a fantastic morning we had at our school’s sponsored Colour Run!
All of our children, from Reception to Year 6, took part and had an absolutely amazing time. There were smiles everywhere as they ran their way around the course, getting sprayed with brightly coloured paint and becoming as colourful as a rainbow by the finish line! The highlight for many was running through the sprinkler to cool down. There were lots of laughs, squeals of excitement and plenty of fun had by all (including the staff). It was wonderful to the children taking part with such enthusiasm and enjoyment. Thank you to everyone who sponsored their child/children. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

A huge well done to Leighton Jackson, who completed his very first 5K Parkrun at North Yorkshire Water Park this weekend! Leighton crossed the finish line in an impressive 48:53 and was absolutely delighted with his achievement. His hard work, determination and positive attitude paid off, and he certainly had plenty to smile about at the end! To celebrate, he was treated to some well-deserved inflatable fun on the lake – the perfect reward after such a fantastic effort!
We're all incredibly proud of you, Leighton. Here's to many more running adventures ahead!

Last weekend, Henry from Year 3 attended the CGFC presentation, where he was awarded Junior Clubman of the Year out of all the junior players. He received the award for his fundraising efforts, great attitude, good manners and for always helping to tidy away each week. We're very proud of him – well done, Henry!

This morning, we had a very special Collective Worship where we were presented with our ‘Platinum Award’ for our outstanding OPAL playtimes. We are all incredibly proud of this achievement and will continue to work hard to further develop our lunchtime play.
Thank you once again to all the parents who were able to attend our Stay and Play session and for purchasing a treat or two. We raised an impressive £112.00, which will be put towards improving our resources and provision.

Thank you to all those parents who were able to attend our 'Stay and Play' session this morning. It was a lovely event. We still have some delicious sweet treats available and we will be selling these in the playground at the end of the school day so don't forget your pennies.
