World bee day 🐝

We focused all week on bees and by the end I had buzzy children bees🤣

A bee-themed week naturally covers several EYFS Development Matters areas:

Understanding the World: Observing bees, investigating plant life cycles, exploring pollination.

Communication & Language: Learning new vocabulary (pollinator, nectar, hive, honeycomb, buzzing) and sharing themed stories.

Expressive Arts & Design: Crafting buzzing bees using yellow and black paper, pipe cleaners, or painting with honeycomb templates.

Physical Development: Developing fine motor skills through tweezer or pincer grips to move "pollen" (pom-poms) and gross motor skills through movement role-play.
