As we come to the end of another wonderful school year, our final post is dedicated to our incredible Year 6 pupils.

Thank you for the memories, the laughter, the achievements, and the positive impact you have had on our school community. We are so proud of everything you have accomplished during your time with us. As you prepare for the next stage of your journey, we wish you every success and happiness. Good luck, Year 6 – we know you will go on to do amazing things!

✨ A huge well done to all our pupils who took part in this morning’s end of year Talent Show. We were treated to an incredible variety of performances, including dancing, beautiful singing, and cheerleading routines. It was a brilliantly, entertaining morning for us all - thank you to the School Council for organising✨

🔴🔵 Learning Ladder Reward Day - Gladiators!🔵🔴

The children have been voting for their Learning Ladder Reward and yesterday they enjoyed a Gladiator Experience - expertly run by LS Coaching. Well Done to the Blue team who were victorious! Thank you to the PTA for funding this.

🎨🖼️What an amazing week for Art at Catsfield! 🎨🖼️

Our 3rd and final Enhanced Art of the year was focused on celebrating local artists. Tigers and Lions looked at the work of Tschabalala Self, whose art they saw at the De La Warr. They used a mix of materials to design their own portraits of either themselves or someone special to them. In Panthers, they studied Eric Ravilious, creating their own stunning landscapes of the South Downs. In Leopards, children explored the paintings created by Janaina Tschäpe, looking at her collection 'Conversations with the Sea'. They recreated beautiful pieces looking at lines and form.

⚽️🥅🥇Yesterday, the School Council hosted our ‘Values football tournament.’ So many children entered teams and there were some fantastic goals scored, assisted and saved.
There were winning teams but the children who came away with medals were those who demonstrated our school values consistently as a team.
The tournament lasted throughout the day and we were so proud of the children for learning how to lose gracefully and showing our values of respect, perseverance and compassion amongst others.
Thank you to our year 10 work experience students for refereeing the matches. ⚽️🥅🥇

🐮🐔On Friday, Lions and Tigers had a fantastic day at the Rare Breeds Centre! The children loved exploring the farm and meeting lots of different animals including Roman Chicken and baby piglets. We were able to feed the goats, pet the rabbits and enjoy a woodland walk. The finale of the day was watching the special pig race put on just for us!🐰🐷
