🌟 POPSTARS: THE 90’S MUSICAL 🌟

📢 Students and Parents: Please read this poster carefully as it contains important information about re-calls, new students, rehearsals and performance dates.

🎭 LEAD ROLE RE-CALLS
📅 Wednesday 2nd September
📍 Music Department
⏰ After School, 3:45pm - 4:30pm
These re-calls are for students being considered for speaking and singing roles.

📋 Re-call lists will be posted on the notice board outside the Drama Theatre and on the Music Department notice board tomorrow.

✅ Important: All students who auditioned in June remain part of the production and do not need to audition again to be involved. The re-call is simply to help allocate principal, speaking and featured singing roles.

⭐ New Year 8 and Year 13 students who have recently joined the school should meet Ms McAvoy in the Drama Theatre at lunchtime on Wednesday 2nd September.

🎵 Rehearsals Every Monday and Wednesday after school, 3:45pm to 4:30pm in the Assembly Hall. Additional rehearsals will be scheduled throughout the term.

📅 Performance Dates 🎤 Thursday 12th November, 7:00pm
🎤 Friday 13th November, 7:00pm
🎤 Saturday 14th November, 2:00pm & 7:00pm

A lovely second day welcoming the rest of our new Year 8 pupils for their induction! It was great to see everyone meeting their new teachers and classmates and getting involved in lots of icebreaker games, drama activities and fun.

We look forward to seeing all of our Year 8s together next week as they begin their new classes!

A big welcome to half of our new Year 8 pupils who joined us today for their induction day! It was wonderful to see everyone settling in, meeting their new teachers and classmates and getting involved in lots of icebreaker games, drama activities and plenty of fun along the way.

We look forward to welcoming the other half of our Year 8 pupils tomorrow before everyone begins their new classes next week.

During the year, our Sacred Space in the school foyer, will reflect different religious themes each month in line with the Church’s liturgical year.

There will be copies of a different prayer each month, to reflect each theme available here, which are free for everyone. Your form teacher and year head will have a digital copy to say the prayer with you each morning in form class and in assembly.

Our Sacred Space during the month of September is dedicated to our school’s Patron Saint, St Malachy. We pray that St Malachy will be present with each student and staff member in our school faith community as we begin a new academic year. There are copies of our school’s Student Prayer available for everyone at our Sacred Space. Our St Malachy’s Student Prayer is our prayer for the month of September. Please take one and remember to say it during form time and assembly each morning during the month of September.

Post 16 Enrolment – Thursday 20th August

We look forward to welcoming prospective Post 16 students to St Malachy’s High School on Thursday 20th August.

Interviews for current Year 12 pupils will begin following the release of GCSE results, with new students welcome for interview from 12.30pm.

We look forward to meeting you and helping you take the next step in your educational journey!
