I regard music therapy as a tool of great power in many neurological disorders--Parkinson's and Alzheimer's--because of its unique capacity to organize and reorganize cerebral function when it has been damaged.

This card is from the parents of one of my clients. In the beginning of the therapy there were lots of frustration experienced by parents and the child due to lack of speech and communication, behavioural issues, delay in development of play. By the end of music therapy negative behaviours decreased significantly and this client has grown into much more communicative, interactive, playful, explorative and cheeky child. The child has began using the voice more, started singing along with me, occasionally making verbal requests ( with unclear pronunciation, but showing lots of effort), so I could sing certain songs.
If you would like to find out more about music therapy, or interested in private sessions, please contact me via private messenger.
