Well first week of the holidays done! We had a lot of fun with art week, drip painting, spin wheels, beading, playdough,slime making, visiting the museum for anglo Saxon accessories making, making butterflies, they also enjoyed playing football and games in the garden as well as making and playing shops, playing families, cops and robbers and a whole lot more! 🤩🎉😅😅 xx

This week we have had so much fun the theme was teddy bears picnic, we prepared all week by colouring and painting Teddys for our decorations, reading lots of bear based stories 🐻learning new songs and singing lots of songs we already know perfecting our actions, playing hunt the bear, 🐻stick the bow on the bear 🐻and having a teddy bears picnic! 🥪We also matched Teddys to colour boards, we counted them and learnt the colours. 🔴🟡🟢🔵

🦶🦶🦶congratulations to all my little ones who have toddled to raise a fantastic £51 for Barnados 🎉🎉🎉. Well done to you all! Very proud of you! 🤩🤩 we had a great time doing it too!

This week we have taken part in the st barnados Big Toddle raising money for a great charity. The children have worn animal masks, we have donned some great animal/Safari prints and have done some great walking we have seen lots of nature on our walks which they have been very interested in spotting along the way!
Today we also joined forces with Emma Redfern and Little Willows Childcare for our Toddle and also had a little sports day for the children. Hoops, bean bags, cones and a parachute all make for a fab sports day!
matching colours, throwing to see who could get a bean Bag in the hoops, aiming to get hoops over the cones ending with a bit of singing wiggling and shaking of the parachute. We all had a great time! 🤩🎉

Fun filled half term learning about the ocean we made 🐠 practising our cutting skills for the older ones, read stories, sillouette art, learning about the dangers in the ocean 🌊 an oil spill and did an experiment to see what would happen and how we could clean it up! We made an ocean play zone, played games related to the ocean being ocean creatures, octopus tag 🐙that gets the heart pumping!🤣. Colouring, beading, playing in the sand and water, fishing in the garden looking at numbers and go-ordination plus a lot of fun! visits to the park and free play with all the toys we have. 😅😅

All about minibeasts this week we read books sang songs made bug fossils looking at their shapes, counting legs, looking at colours looking for bugs out and about. 🤩

The life cycle of a caterpillar 🐛 is now complete we have loved watching them grow and transform from teeny tiny caterpillars to cocoons and then on Monday it was amazing watching them fly off into the wild as gorgeous butterflies 🦋 so lovely seeing them flitting around! 🥰🎉
