🌟 What a fun day in our Toddler and Preschool Room! 🌟

This morning the children enjoyed rolling dice to identify numbers and then matching them to the numbers on our tuff tray. They then used paintbrushes and water to “wash” the numbers away. A fun way to practise number recognition and develop their fine motor skills! 🔢💦

This afternoon the children practised their scissor control by cutting out “their crazy hair” ✂️ The children engaged really well with the activity and all tried their very best 🥰

Today our children enjoyed a wonderful tea-inspired water play activity to celebrate International Tiger Day! Inspired by the story The Tiger Who Came to Tea, we set up a fun tuff tray where we could make tea, pour, splash and serve our special tiger guest.

This week our preschool and toddler children have been engaging in a range of exciting activities to celebrate National Ice Cream Day. The children enjoyed imaginative role play by creating their own ice cream parlour, taking turns serving customers, choosing flavours, and using pretend money 🍦🍨🍧
