If anyone would like these IKEA Nolmyra chairs - please feel free to take them. They are on the front of the school. 😊

Staff would like to thank parents and carers for your lovely gifts, cards and well wishes at the end of the year. This is never expected but always appreciated 💚

There is quite a lot of lost property in school - please feel free to call in on Monday morning to see if any of it belongs to your child.

Also, we are asking for all reading books to be returned early next week so that we can audit what we have.

Thank you

🍎A HINT OF SNOW WHITE🍎

Thank you to everyone who attended our summer performance and supported the children as they proudly showed off their acting skills and singing.
This is the longest performance we have ever put on (not intentionally, I must confess), but it was a wonderful challenge, particularly for our year 5&6 children, some of whom thrive in this kind of situation and love a bit of drama.
It is a lovely way for them to finish their primary school experience.

I can’t begin to express our pride we have for everyone involved. They sang their hearts out and all did their very best. There were some tired children, particularly at the evening performance after a long and humid day, but they still gave it their all.
Well done everyone. 👏🏻

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff for their amazing effort and commitment, putting it all together, and staying behind in the evening to support too.
Also thanks to Helen from Music Makers for her support too. This was Helen’s last event with us and we want to thank her for supporting the school music provision over the last couple of years.

Here are a few photos from the day. 😊

A few more from today’s Walby trip for Buttermere and Windermere Class 😊

Today, Derwentwater Class started to create the playground prototypes that they have been planning. They have been using the hacksaws, mitre blocks, glue guns and a range of materials to bring their visions to life. We can’t wait to share the final products with you. 😊

Buttermere and Windermere have had a wonderful time at Walby Farm Park today. The sun was shining and they have enjoyed every minute. The staff are so proud of the behaviour they exhibited all day.
Fair to say there were some tired children on the bus on the way back - but we are delighted they enjoyed themselves so much. 💚

Please see the poster attached about the latest production from Wigton's John Peel Theatre, winner of the Theatre of the Year, Cumbria earlier this year. The Wind in the Willows is being performed between 15th and 18th July over 4 shows.

It's going to be a great family friendly show, with plenty of fun and laughter included, set in the comfortable and wheelchair accessible building.
