The Museum of the Moon has officially arrived at Carlisle Cathedral! 🌕
This striking artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram features a 7-metre internally lit moon sculpture, with detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface.
From 1 Oct to 1 Nov, you can see this impressive artwork suspended from the clerestory in Carlisle Cathedral beneath the starry ceiling for which it is well known ✨
A special events programme will also be on offer, which will include talks, concerts, late night openings (with optional, at-height “Moon View Tours”), children’s workshops, PJ parties, an exhibition, and more.
🎟 Admission by voluntary donation, suggested at £5 per adult or £12 per family
