The theme for the conference is: The future of Paediatrics
We have a very exciting lineup of speakers including paediatricians and a representative from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. There will also be workshops running in the afternoon with lunch and refreshments provided for you!

A brand new CUPS opportunity for paid work in the Paediatric Emergency Department at UHW!
As this is clinical work, it is only open to medical students in their clinical years (year 3 and above).
It will involve working with senior clinicians in the paeds ED as clinical assistants, performing tasks such as scribing, ECGs, venipuncture and more!
As we all have education and placement responsibilities, the work will be available only on weekends and evenings. The work will be paid via the NHS banding system at around band 3 which translates to around £10 an hour.
If you are interested in finding out more about this, please fill in this form by 5pm on Friday the 16th of December.
