From Monday 15th June the school canteen will become completely cashless and pupils will not be able to pay with cash or top their account up with cash in school anymore.
The only way to top up accounts and to add money on to pupil accounts / fobs will be through the UPAY app. This is a simple and straight forward process that most parents already use. Please see the guide through the link below on how to do this.
https://www.upay.co.uk/app/Upay_User_Guide_September_2018.pdf
As part of the registration process you will need an Affiliate ID for your child, if you do not have this you will need to ring the CCBC Dinner Card Helpline on 01443 864055 and they will be able to provide you with your child's code.
Our school canteen is run by Caerphilly County Borough Council and we, as a school, are not involved and do not have access to any of the operations of the canteen so for any queries at all you will need to contact the above number and not the school.
Please ensure that your child's account has funds on it in readiness for 15th June.

National Winners!!!
Some fantastic news, and a further update regarding this year’s Show Racism the Red Card Creative Competition.
Both Genevieve Mouat and Grace Dudley attended the national Show Racism the Red Card awards ceremony, and we are extremely proud to share that both pupils won the NextGen Science and Technology category, an outstanding achievement.
Even more impressively, Grace Dudley went on to win the Overall Winner and Gold Creative Award for her park bench design, securing a brand new iPad. This is a fantastic achievement, and she has truly flown the flag for herself and for Bedwas on a national stage.
This marks our fourth consecutive year winning this category, and the first year we have had a pupil win the overall creative prize, which is a fantastic achievement for our school.
A huge well done to both Genevieve and Grace, we are extremely proud of them.
