As another wonderful school year comes to an end, we’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our incredible families for your kindness and generosity. We have been truly overwhelmed by your thoughtful cards, gifts and lovely messages. Your support means more to us than you know.

We’d also like to give a special mention to our amazing St Andrew’s families. Your incredibly generous gifts allowed us to stock our staff room with lots of delicious treats, as well as enjoy a beautiful afternoon tea together on Friday afternoon. It was such a lovely opportunity for the team to sit down, relax and celebrate another fantastic year together.

And finally, the biggest thank you goes to our incredible Ribbons team. 💜 Your dedication, care, patience and endless enthusiasm make Ribbons the special place it is. We are so grateful for everything you do for our children and families every single day. We hope you all enjoyed letting your hair down on our staff night out at the escape room last night – it was the perfect way to celebrate another amazing year together! (Although we’re still not sure who was the most competitive… 😉)

Thank you all for making this year so special. It is a privilege to be part of your children’s early years journey, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another year of fun, learning and adventures.

Hip Hip Hooray… Summer is on its way at Ribbons Preschool!

The school year may be over, but the adventures are only just beginning!

Get ready for five fantastic weeks of laughter, learning, exploring and making magical memories as we celebrate all things GREAT and British!

Week 1 – Once Upon a Story…
We’ll step into the wonderful worlds of our favourite British authors, bringing stories to life through imaginative play, crafts and adventures.

Week 2 – Yummy Britain!
From tasty treats to delicious delights, little chefs will explore the flavours that make Britain so yummy!

Week 3 – Kings, Castles & Legends!
We’ll travel through time to discover Britain’s incredible history, famous landmarks and mythical tales full of dragons, knights and legendary heroes.

Week 4 – Superstars of Britain!
Ready… Set… Go! We’ll celebrate our sporting champions and musical legends with games, dancing, singing and lots of fun.

Week 5 – Three Cheers for Ribbons!
A week full of celebrations, friendships and everything we love about being part of the Ribbons family as we finish the summer in true British style!

Every day is packed with exciting activities, messy play, outdoor adventures, crafts, stories, laughter and plenty of smiles!

If your child was born between 1 April 2023 and 31 August 2023, you can apply now! Funded childcare can start from 1 September 2026.

To be eligible for the Offer, each parent must:
🏡Live in Wales
🤸Have a child aged 3 or 4 years old
⬇️Earn less than £100,000 per year
✅Be employed and earn at least, on average, the equivalent to working 16 hours a week at the National Minimum Wage or Living Wage
📚Or be enrolled on either an undergraduate, postgraduate or further education course that is at least 10 weeks in length
