Pumpkin picking is starting, Cardiff Half weekend is here, and there’s everything from family comedy and science to ice hockey, cinema, crafts and markets happening across Cardiff and nearby.

🎃 CEFN MABLY FARM PARK – PUMPKIN SEASON
Pumpkin season is on this weekend, alongside all the usual farm park fun, animals and indoor play.

Expect autumn activities, pumpkin picking and plenty of seasonal photo opportunities. 🍂

🎃 FORAGE PYO PUMPKINS – COWBRIDGE
📅 From Saturday 3 October

Thousands of pumpkins to choose from, tractor-trailer rides, farm animals, family activities, entertainment and lots of lovely autumn photo spots.

Advance booking is recommended.

🎃 LOWER HOUSE FARM PUMPKIN PATCH – LLANVAIR DISCOED
📅 From Saturday 3 October

Another lovely pumpkin patch opening for the season this weekend.

The Cardiff Half weekend kicks off with a family-focused Saturday around City Hall.

Race entries are now sold out, but it should still be a brilliant atmosphere in the city.

Worth the short trip if you fancy a foodie day out!

Just bear in mind that Cardiff Half road closures could make getting there trickier than usual.

⚠️ IMPORTANT – CARDIFF HALF ROAD CLOSURES

The Cardiff Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, with extensive road closures around Cardiff city centre, Canton, Leckwith, Cardiff Bay, Penarth, Roath and Cathays.

Rolling closures are expected between approximately 8.30am and 3.10pm, with some roads closing earlier.

If you’re heading out on Sunday, definitely check your route before leaving. 🚗
