Dear Parents

Welcome back to a new school year. We hope you've all had a lovely summer break, despite the mixed weather. Typically, summer seems to be back with a vengeance this week ☀️

We'd just like to say a big thank you for all the fabulous and delicious gifts we received at the end of last term and the very touching cards. It's always so nice to feel appreciated.

We are sad to have lost 30+ children as they move on to 'big school', but we're looking forward to seeing them looking very grown up in their new uniforms if they're moving on to Fordham Primary.

Whichever school they have moved on to, we hope they settle in and enjoy meeting their new teachers and friends.

Welcome back to those children returning to us this year and a warm welcome to those who are joining us for the first time. We're looking forward to a fun packed term.

Another year gone so quickly. Another large part of our preschool family moving on to ventures new. We will miss each and every one of you. Your individual personalities that we have loved seeing coming out and shining through. Those that were shy, but soon come out of their shell. Those that supported others in finding their confidence, without understanding the enormity of that friendship, of those early bonds being formed. The laughter, the learning, the tears, the snotty noses, the fun... the singing!!!

We are so very proud of you all: for your growth, for your humour, for your moments of figuring out how to deal with your frustrations- your trust in knowing that us adults would always be there to help you, to listen to you, to give you a hug- if that was what you needed.

We wish you well on your journey through primary school, the next stepping stone in your life. As I always say: stay curious, never be afraid to ask questions- to ask for help- because none of us are ever too old to learn, ever!

Enjoy your holidays, and remember to wave to us- we’ll be looking out for you, seeing how grown up you all look in your little uniforms 🤘

To our parents leaving us, thank you for entrusting us with the care of your children; it has been our pleasure. Your children will forever be a part of Fordham Preschool... as well as our memories, we have a photo to prove it!

To all of our children returning in September, we look forward to the start of a new academic year, to lots more fun, lots more growth... obviously after a relaxing holiday for us all!

To those soon joining us, we are looking forward to meeting you, to getting to know you. We will ensure you have fun, that you laugh and make many new friends. Your new stepping stone awaits you.
