5yrs ago we planned a Gold DOFE Harken River expedition...covid meant it never happened....I have kept planning it but it didn't happen...this year I decided just to do it! Well worth the wait ...love the simplicity of expedition paddling!

I am planning to sell the Red 16ft Silverbirch canoes which you will of seen in all the photos! Please get in touch if your interested in either just the Canoe (£700) or if you would like a package of Canoe/2x paddles/2 x PEAK Bouyancy aids/ 2x blue waterproof barrels (£850) Happy to give some coaching to get you going and advice on local rivers to adventure on!

Its the end of an era! We have loved running Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditons over the last 12 years and we think we have taken may be over 2000 young people on expedition either walking or canoeing for their Bronze, Silver or Gold. We have lead expeditions in England, Wales, Scotland and Sweden hopefully equipping and inspiring young people to go on their own adventures! But covid and the financial pressures that families are under mean that we dont have enough bookings this year to run the expeditions so are letting those who have booked know now so that they can book with other providers! We will still be running non DofE Expeditions, so if you fancy a trip from Bedford to Cambridge by canoe, down the River Spey or the Harken in Sweden then do get in touch!
