Thank you Willingham for two more brilliant MiniMe whole school impact days FAILING FORWARD. Failure has never been so sweet!

A very energetic day of failure, fun and frolics! and then there was the tidy up and pack away at the end of the day!!

I'm off to lie in a darkened room for a couple of hours and maybe a bit of meditation!!🧘😆

I'll see you in Autumn 1 Willingham when we'll be exploring BELIEF - the next chapter in building our INDEPENDENCE.

See you in September! Can't wait!

Meet one of our team.

"Meet our Mindset Mentors. They are part of a national team trained to bring calm, fun, and real mindset techniques into classrooms, nurseries, clubs and camps across the UK.

The children know them by name. The teachers ask when they are coming back. They lead with their hearts — and their training. This is the work the children carry home.

P.S. We're nominated in the What's On 4 Kids Awards 2026 — voting closes 15 July.

If our work has supported a child you love, your vote means a lot. https://www.whatson4kids.co.uk/awards/vote

This week I am back running whole school workshops at Willingham Primary School and what a joyous day I have had!

Words that the children I worked with today shared with me as part of their experience today:

"Calm, fun, I felt independent, I imagined I was sliding down a rainbow! Happy, relaxed, my strategy was... "

When the school booked me to come into school, they were looking to do some focused thinking around INDEPENDENCE. They left it to me to decide which Superpowers for our mental health and wellbeing would be a good start to fit into this focus. I chose:

RESILIENCE / FAIL FORWARD / BELIEF

Today's workshops focused on FAILING FORWARDS where children across KS1 explored the importance of failing before we eventually succeed. We are going to come across challenging events and situations throughout life - that is what life is all about.

Part of the RESILIENCE we need to build comes from knowing that when things fail and don't work out, that is OK and is actually required for growth to happen - as long as we use the mistakes to figure out how to make things better!

I even got to pop into Honeypots pre-school!

Our Guided Meditation today to begin the session was all about a RAINBOW so I felt it was a moment when one appeared outside my front door this evening when I got home - it was definitely a moment when I felt the universe was talking! 🌈😊

A big shout out to all the children and staff at Willingham - you have all been thoroughly delightful and it was amazing to work with such lovely children for the day! Watch out KS2 because tomorrow it's your turn to FAIL FORWARDS!

What Reception and Year 6 are quietly carrying.

Two children in the same house can be carrying very different transitions right now.

The Reception child is wondering if Year 1 will still let them play.

The Year 6 child is wondering if their friends are going to the same secondary.

Both are real.

Both deserve language.

We see children settle faster when the adults around them name what is happening — not fix it, just name it.

The countdown begins quietly.

"First day of June.

From here, it is roughly six weeks until the school year ends.

The children in your house already know it, even if they cannot explain it.

Excitement builds. Tiredness creeps in. Routines slip. Patience runs thin - ours and theirs.

This is just the part of the year where everyone needs a softer landing at the end of the day.

Be kind to yourselves as we welcome in this new month.

Built for the in-between.

Today, our Ready 4 BIG School Calm Kitâ„¢ and School Transition Calm Kitâ„¢ open for early access.

Both come in Home and Classroom Editions. Both are built for the in-between months — when children know change is coming and need calm techniques in their own words to carry into September.

Trusted by schools and nurseries across the UK, for Reception teachers, Y6 teachers, and the parents too. Free Hub access for parents and teachers included.

"We have noticed how the children have gained confidence and become more self-aware." — Jodie Bailey, Deputy Head, Windsor Park Middle School.

A calm kind of chaos.

Half-term, MiniMe-style.

Some of our Mindset Mentors are running camps and clubs this week. Some, like me, are taking the rest.

Our Founder Tessa has spent the morning at the kitchen table with Oscar and Annie working on the next round of meditations.

There is no perfect way to do half-term, in our team or in your house.

If our work has supported a child you love this year, we would love your vote in the What's On 4 Kids Awards.

September is closer than it feels.

Two big transition waves are sitting under the surface this half-term.

Reception families thinking about big school. Y6 families thinking about secondary.

Both groups are quietly carrying it — the new uniform conversations, the lost-friend worries, the bedtime questions.

Settling these worries is not about answers. It is about giving children language for what they feel and routines that travel with them into September.

From 1 June, our Ready 4 BIG School Calm Kitâ„¢ and School Transition Calm Kitâ„¢ go live in Home and Classroom Editions.

Early access wait list now open.

For the adults who hold it all together.
You can't pour from an empty cupâ„¢.

SATs done. Half-term incoming. The end-of-year wave is on its way.

You can't pour from an empty cupâ„¢.

Mini Me Time™ is mindset mentoring for adults — parents, carers, teachers — built by the team behind MiniMe Mindfulness®.

CPD-accredited. Calm, practical, real. Because the children we love are watching how we cope, not just what we say.

Behind the scenes.

A MiniMe Mindfulness® session looks different from what most people picture.

There is movement, laughter, stories of the feel good fox, animal breathing games, and meditations guided by Oscar and Annie's voices.

It is calm, but it is also alive. This is mental health created in real time, not a quiet room with a worksheet. If our sessions have made a difference for a child you love, your vote in the What's On 4 Kids Awards would mean a lot.
