What actually happens at Ferment & Feast?

People often ask us what makes Ferment & Feast so different. The answer is... it's much more than lunch. Especially with September’s exciting line-up.

The morning begins with Catalina and chef, author and fermentation expert Kenji Morimoto, leading a relaxed, hands-on fermentation workshop alongside our guest chefs, where you'll discover the science behind fermentation, improve your understanding of gut health, taste a range of fermented foods and prepare your own ferment to take home.

Then everyone gathers around the table.

Michelin-trained chef Rowen Halstead will then serve an exclusive three-course vegetarian lunch using seasonal ingredients and zero waste cooking.

It's a day of learning, tasting, sharing ideas, meeting lovely people and enjoying really exceptional food.

Whether you've never fermented anything before or already have bubbling jars on your kitchen counter, we'd love to welcome you.
