Our Summer Meeting was followed by our annual collaboration with Women of the Year (WOTY), beginning with drinks in the SCR and lunch before an inspiring afternoon panel discussion. Pictured here are our Co-President, Sian Sheng, and WOTY's Leonie Mellinger, who hosted the panel and guided a thought-provoking conversation.

The Summer Meeting covers a wide range of topics, from outreach and careers workshops to our connections with other College bodies, including the Roll Committee. This year's meeting was also the last at which we were joined by our outstanding outgoing Principal, Alison Rose, who became Newnham's thirteenth Principal in 2019 and has guided the College through the challenges of COVID-19 and many other important developments during her tenure.

In this talk, Wolfson President Professor Dame Ijeoma Uchegbu will explore what work needs to be done to improve the outcomes for Black and minoritized ethnic students within British Higher education, and why such a diversified body of students and academics within university settings can be of benefit for all.
