One of the questions we are asked most often about online school is whether children can form real friendships. We think this photo speaks for itself!

The bonds formed in our small, close-knit classrooms at Cambridge Home School Online are genuine, warm and lasting. And for our students, who join us from all corners of the world, those friendships are not limited by geography. They are strengthened by it.

When you learn alongside someone every day, ask questions together, laugh together and support each other through challenges, the connection is real regardless of the distance between you. And when the chance comes to meet in person, it feels like the most natural thing in the world.

It was so wonderful to see so many of our students in person at our recent school picnic in Cambridge!

Our small class sizes mean that pupils get to know each other deeply and genuinely from the very start. The bonds formed in our online classrooms are real and lasting, and it was wonderful to see them continue so naturally offline.

It was also a real treat to welcome students from our sister school, Queen's Online School, to the gathering. Watching friendships that span both schools come together in person had a warmth that only comes from a truly close knit community.

We look forward to many more occasions like this one 🫶

Our CHS Prep students had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day this week. The day was full of creativity, imagination, and a shared love of reading. Students came dressed as their favourite book characters, bringing beloved stories to life and sharing the books that inspire them. From classic heroes to magical adventurers, it was fantastic to see such enthusiasm for literature!
