'Examining relationships between thinking habits and heart rate patterns in worry.'
We are recruiting individuals aged 18-40 for a study examining mind-body links in worry. Participation will involve completing an online screening questionnaire relating to your experiences of anxiety, worry and health status. If you meet the inclusion criteria you will be invited to attend a 1 hour 15 minute in-person testing session at King's College London, Denmark Hill campus, involving computer based cognitive tasks, mood and demographic questionnaires, and wearing electrodes on your torso to record heart rate.
If you attend the session, you will be reimbursed £15 via bank transfer.

For ££ - Participants Needed! ‘Virtual reality for everyday worries and anxiety.’

King’s College London is seeking volunteers aged 16+ for a study examining the effects of virtual reality on everyday worry, approved by the Health Faculties Research Ethics Subcommittee. Participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time.

The study involves an Online Survey asking about anxiety, worry, and health. You will have the option to enter a prize draw to win one of 2x£50 or 2x£100 vouchers. You may also be invited to an In-Person Session, which will be a 1 to 1.5-hour session at Denmark Hill campus involving heart rate monitoring while viewing natural scenery in VR or 2D.
If you participate in the in-person session you will be given a £10 Love2shop voucher for your time.

For £££, Participants Needed! ‘Examining thinking habits, heart rate patterns and breathing during worry: A 2 session study’
We are recruiting individuals aged 18-40 for a study examining mind-body links in worry. Participation will involve completing online screening questionnaires relating to your experiences of anxiety, worry, and health status. If you meet the inclusion criteria you will be invited to attend a testing session and a one-week follow-up session at King’s College London’s Denmark Hill campus. The study will involve computer-based cognitive and breathing tasks, wearing electrodes on your torso to record heart rate, and a belt around your abdomen to record breathing. In between sessions, you will be asked to engage in daily home practice of breathing exercises for 10 minutes, twice a day.

【We are looking for individuals aged 18-25 to participate in a study examining mind-body links in negative thinking. 】

Participation in the study will involve completing online screening questionnaires relating to your experiences of repetitive negative thinking, and your health status. If you meet the inclusion criteria you will be invited to complete additional questionnaires within 24 hours prior to attending a single in-person testing session at King’s College London’s Denmark Hill campus. If you choose to attend the in-person session, you will be asked to wear electrodes on your torso to record your heart rate and a belt around your abdomen to record your breathing. You will be asked to complete a range of computer-based cognitive tasks and breathing exercises while wearing the equipment. It is expected to take 10 minutes to complete the screening questionnaires, 10 minutes to complete the additional questionnaires, and 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the in-person session.

If you complete the online questionnaires and attend the in-person session, you will be reimbursed £20 via bank transfer. For ££ - Participants Needed! We are looking for individuals aged 18-40 to participate in a study examining relationships between thinking and heart patterns in worry. Participation in the study will involve completing online screening questionnaires relating to your experiences of anxiety, worry, and your health status. If you meet the inclusion criteria, you will be invited to complete additional questionnaires within 24 hours prior to attending a single in-person testing session at King’s College London’s Denmark Hill campus. If you choose to attend the in-person session, you will be asked to wear electrodes on your torso to record your heart rate and complete some further questionnaires. You will then be asked to complete two computer tasks which involve reading and listening to scenarios and responding to subsequent statements and questions.
If you complete the online questionnaires and attend the in-person session, you will have the choice of being reimbursed £15 via bank transfer or being given a £15 love2shop voucher for your time. You will also be asked to engage in daily home practice of breathing exercises for 10 minutes, twice a day.
