💜 National Schizophrenia Awareness Day | 25 July 2026
Today, Apollo Care Surrey joins others across the UK in raising awareness of schizophrenia and standing against the stigma that too often surrounds mental illness.
Schizophrenia is a complex mental health condition that can affect how a person thinks, feels and experiences the world. It is estimated to affect around 1 in 100 people during their lifetime. With the right treatment, support and understanding, many people living with schizophrenia can lead meaningful, independent and fulfilling lives.
At Apollo Care Surrey, we believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and compassion. By learning more about schizophrenia and challenging common misconceptions, we can help create a more inclusive and supportive community for those affected.
Together, we can replace stigma with understanding, encourage open conversations about mental health, and remind those living with schizophrenia that they are never alone.
💜 Mental health matters. Compassion matters. Understanding matters.
Let’s remember:
🧠 Schizophrenia is a medical condition - not a choice.
💙 Compassion and understanding make a difference.
🤝 No one should face mental health challenges alone.
Together, let’s replace stigma with understanding. 💜

Protection begins with awareness, and awareness begins with courage.
At Project Salama and Tell Somebody, we stand with every survivor, every child, and every community choosing to speak up. Together, we provide culturally sensitive support, early‑intervention safeguarding, and emotional‑awareness tools that help people feel seen, heard, and protected.
Hope. Support. Strength.
Whether you’re seeking safety, clarity, or a place to talk, you are not alone.
See the signs. Speak up. Make a difference.

What an incredible day at Pride! 🏳️🌈❤️💜
Project Salama and Tell Somebody CIC were proud to stand alongside our community, celebrating love, diversity, inclusion, and the courage to be yourself.
It was a privilege to meet so many amazing people, share conversations, listen to stories, and let people know that they are not alone.
Project Salama and Tell Somebody CIC, are committed to raising awareness and supporting those affected by child abuse and domestic abuse. Through Project Salama, we provide safe, confidential and culturally sensitive support because everyone deserves to live free from abuse and fear.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall, took information, shared kind words, and supported our mission. Your encouragement means so much.
Together, we continue to build communities where every voice matters, every survivor is believed, and every child is protected.
🌈 Love is Love.
💜 You Are Not Alone.
🛡️ Together, we will conquer. The fight continues, hope remains.
Parents, Talk to your children. Guide them. Reassure them that they can always come to you. Calm conversations at home can protect children online. Listen early. Believe them. Protect them.

Together, we can build a world where children know their voices matter.
On Sunday we were joined by the Mayor and the Mayoress, who took time to connect with us and learn more about our Tell Somebody safeguarding mission. We are deeply grateful for their support, their dedication to the community, and the incredible work they continue to do for the people. Thank you 🙏🏾
