Creative Minds Academy

It's been rather quiet at CMA HQ for the last few months as we move through a period of change. There are some new faces to be seen at the Academy this term and new work spaces as Camberley Theatre is closed for some refurbishment work until Christmas.

We are delighted, therefore, to say that we have classes starting on 9th September and there are currently spaces for trials should anyone wish to join us.

For any current students, if you bring a friend and they sign up for this term, we'll give you a little bonus gift too!

Wednesday: Young Performers class 6.30 - 7.30pm

Friday: Youth Theatre Technical class 6.30 - 8.30pm

Any of our young Performers interested?

We are looking for two young performers to join Simply Theatre’s production of Kinky Boots (25th-27th April 2024 in Woking at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre!) 👠

The two parts are the young versions of our two leading men! They appear in one number and both have a little singing and speaking. This a super opportunity to get involved with a fantastic adult theatre company in Simply Theatre 🎭

A small number of rehearsals will be needed to learn music blocking and choreography 💃🏻

Young Charlie
Playing age: 7-10

Young Lola/Simon
Playing age: 10-14
Please note, for this role we will be casting a person of colour

Children who are cast will be fully licenced and chaperoned.
