🎆 Fireworks for everyone

We know that not everyone enjoys loud bangs, but that shouldn't mean families have to miss out on the magic and tradition of fireworks.

That's why we're creating a low-noise fireworks and laser show — giving families an alternative to the very loud traditional displays, while also being more considerate of neighbouring wildlife and local pets.

And because we're running it during October half term, we're hoping it will give local families something fun to do right on their doorstep.

🎃 There will be plenty to enjoy!

📅 Wednesday 28th October
🚪 Gates open at 5pm (your ticket gives you entry)

🎃 Pumpkin trail around the school grounds
🎨 Craft stall
🌭 BBQ with hotdogs, including vegan options (there is a discount if booked online with your ticket)
☕ Hot chocolate stand
🥤 Refreshments
✨ Glow products for sale
♿ Accessible toilets
🎆 Laser show followed by low-noise fireworks

Please walk to the event where possible.

💛 WE NEED YOUR HELP!

This is a high-cost event to put on, so we really need to get the word out and attract both ticket sales and local business sponsorship.

If you know a local business that may be interested in sponsoring the event, please let us know!

We're creating our roadside banners at the end of this week, so businesses wanting their logo included on the banners have a short deadline.

🙋‍♀️ WE ALSO NEED VOLUNTEERS!

Could you spare just 30 minutes on the day?

We need help with:

🎟️ Main gates
🎃 Pumpkin trail
🥤 Refreshments

If enough people volunteer for a short slot, we can make sure everyone gets to enjoy the event too!

Please share this post with your friends, family, local school groups and community pages. ❤️

The more people who know about it, the more successful we can make this event — and the more we can raise towards making Frogmore Junior School more accessible and inclusive.

🎆 £5 tickets are only available until 26th August and are limited to 200.

Thank you for supporting us! 💛

Frogmore Junior School cricket club have spent a wonderful evening at the Women’s T20 World Cup. The children were very excited to attend a real match and had a great time cheering on either New Zealand or Ireland

We shared some exciting news in assembly this morning. Frogmore Juniors Inclusion group won the Collective Kindness Award from 52 Lives. Our inclusion group winning — or even simply existing — is genuinely significant because it shows pupils themselves are taking ownership of kindness, belonging, and fairness.
