We have continued exploring our ‘Toys’ topic with a lovely interactive sensory story. Our pupils enjoyed looking at different types of toys and talking about which ones they liked best!

We’ve also been working hard on our fine motor skills, with lots of practice developing our cutting skills. ✂️

During our walk this week, we took some magnets with us and went on a magnetic investigation! 🧲 We explored our surroundings to see which objects were magnetic and had lots of fun discovering what we could find.

Our pupils have been wonderfully engaged throughout the week and have also been exploring emotions and feelings during our Thrive sessions.

🎃 Next week, we’re getting spooky!
We’ll be starting our Halloween activities, so keep an eye out for some spooky crafts coming home!

WOW, what a busy week at Positive Pathways!

Our pupils have had a fantastic week filled with fun, learning and exploration!

We’ve been getting stuck into messy play, Bucket Time and sensory stories, while also developing and practising some really important life skills.

Every pupil has worked incredibly hard this week, showing fantastic effort, perseverance and enthusiasm. We’ve been so proud to hand out lots of gems to celebrate their achievements! 💎

What a lovely week at Positive Pathways!

Our pupils have been busy engaging in lots of fun and meaningful activities throughout the week, including maths, role play, cooking, phonics and outdoor learning.

Two of our pupils enjoyed a trip to the local shop to buy the ingredients needed for our cooking activity, where they made some delicious pizza wraps!

We’ve also enjoyed some fantastic Bucket Time sessions, along with plenty of sensory play, including drawing to music.

It has been wonderful to see our pupils learning, exploring, developing their skills and, most importantly, having fun along the way!

What a busy week we’ve had at Positive Pathways!

We’ve been making the most of the week with lots of fun, learning and exploring!

Our children have enjoyed:
🌳 Exploring nature and spending time outdoors
👫 Playing and learning alongside their peers
🧁 Baking yummy treats
🎭 Dressing up and using their imaginations
📚 Enjoying story time
🧠 Learning, discovering and developing new skills

What a fantastic first week back at Positive Pathways!

We arrived back to a letter in the mail for one of our pupils who received their very own Blue Peter badge. Well done!

It has been wonderful to welcome everyone back, and we are so proud of how brilliantly our pupils have settled in. We have also had the pleasure of welcoming some new pupils to Positive Pathways this week.

This term, we have started exploring our exciting new topic “Toys” 🧸🚂 and the pupils have already been getting stuck into lots of fun learning and activities.

We’ve also had lots of fun getting creative with Disco Dough and took some time during Wellbeing Club to explore what it means to feel calm, looking at different ways we can help our bodies and minds relax.

It has been such a positive start to the new term, and we can’t wait to see what the coming weeks bring!

Just one week to go until the end of term!

We have lots of exciting activities planned for our pupils next week as we celebrate a fantastic term together.

This week has been another busy one, with lots of engaging number work, geography activities, and sensory play. Our pupils also created some beautiful salt paintings, showing off their creativity and imagination. 🎨

During our Thrive sessions, we spent some special time talking with the pupils who will be saying goodbye to us next week as they prepare to move on to their forever schools. We explored how they are feeling about this exciting next step and celebrated the wonderful journey they have had with us.

We can't wait to make our final week together full of fun, memories, and celebration!

Each week, we focus on a different letter of the alphabet. This week, our focus was on the letter W, which was incorporated into our weekly Bucket Time sessions.

In Maths, we explored 3D shapes, developing our understanding of their names and properties. In English, we enjoyed reading and discussing poems about the weather.

We also made the most of the outdoors, enjoying visits to the park and nature walks, where we looked for and observed different animals.
