Reflecting on what has been a wild year of tutoring, teaching and travelling 🧡 Wishing everyone a wonderful time over Christmas and New Year as we approach 2026. I am so grateful to all the families I have worked with in 2025! I will be taking this time off to rest, recharge and reset before a big year ahead ✨️

1) lovely feedback from a parent back in February when my student (who I taught in Y4, and tutored in Y5 and Y6!) received the news she had passed her entrance exams
2) because who doesn't love a giant panda?
3) festive animals arrays
4) can we leave 67 in 2025?!
5) we love crafts!
6) one of our favourite games - Dodge The Trunchbull (I'm not a sore loser, I swear 🤪)
7) final session in the cabin before lights out!
8) admitting there's no escaping it
9&10) when Skittles are life!

🌙 L A S T W E E K I attended my first National Tutors' Conference and my first in-person tutor event! I booked my ticket for this back in February this year after putting 'push myself out of my comfort zone' on my 2025 goals list. I'm so keen to learn more about the tutoring world, and within doing so, it's helping me realise my drive and passion for developing children's confidence, both socially and academically. It was scary and daunting meeting and socialising with other tutors, but they say being out of your comfort zone is where the magic happens. And there certainly was magic (and magical people!) at the event. How crazy that one of those people is just round the corner, too! 💫 my toolkit is stocked, and I'm feeling super thankful for all the knowledge shared throughout the day. What an amazing, supportive and inspirational community 🫶🏼
