The online end of year show!

The School of Art & Design End of Year Online Showcase. It has been an outstanding year for us. This year we are in Coronavirus lockdown. This was never going to dampen the creativity, skill, endeavour and soul of our students and staff as can be seen in by the work on display in the showcase.

There are lots missing still, please send us stuff because we know you have done work and we want it for the online show VeXed which is basically your farewell show......next week week we will be editing stuff for this and may contact you for bits or photos/screenshots to make it better before we upload to the Vexed website. If you can't load to classroom then contact us directly!!!

Attached is an update from Derek Johnson and our team after a meeting this week - there are still some areas that we do not have final info on but the aim is continue working for you portfolios as much as you can - hand it in 7th May and then you can either tweak and submit some of the final work for the Quaren-zine which will have a show online and at the beginning of year two or make cool new work! Please ask Chris and I questions if you are worried.

Hello to year 1 and 2 - I hope you are all okay, Chris and I are working from google classroom and will be starting to contact you about tasks especially for your blogs which are essentially going to be the main way for us to see how you are developing ideas. We will set up suggested tasks, set yourself targets for the week and I am going through year two blogs today to start guiding research. Software like Mudbox and Cinema 4D are free for you to use - if you don't have Photoshop then try GIMP, Krita or others as freebies. If you can't make then design and plan instead. Contact us if you need help but keep at it because the more you do the better chance we have of suggesting grades!!
ADOBE IS FREE!!!!!!! Go to https://creativecloud.adobe.com/ and log in with your college email and password. when prompted selected company / school account. you will be redirected to WSC log in - log in again wsc email and password. - then download what you need.
