Freddie, the Father of a child who suffered a major crash, was reunited with the crew who saved the child's life.

Freddie's child suffered a high speed motocycle crash, which led to a bleed on the brain, which required the child to be put into an induced coma.

Our team was on scene within less than a minute of the crash and prepared with all the equipment required to save a child's life; we made quick decisions to support the best outcome for the patient. This included recognising the patient's needs and speaking directly to the EEAST Critical Care Desk to get a Critical Care team dispatched. In the time we waited for additional support, we maintained the patient's airway, supported their breathing, and identified any life-threatening injuries.

Freddie was emotional meeting the team who saved his child's life, he kept sharing his gratitude with words of kindness, and this is an important reminder of the impact our clinicians have in emergency situations.

We couldn't be prouder of our crew.

Last week, we had the pleasure of looking after our repeat partnership with RAF Honington; it looked like our team had a good time there too.

It's lovely to hear back from our clients, and this is what they said about us. A true testimony of how much we try to support our clients.

‘Josh and Olympus Medical were our provider for our families day this year, an event which brought around 1850 attendees. From day 1, the team did not only provide the cover, but actively worked with me to find the right level of cover needed and even worked hard to get the cover at a great price.

On the event day, they set up, were self-sufficient and extremely professional, dealing with any and all issues and raising them to myself when needed, as to not cause unnecessary work for myself.

We are proud to share our recent partnership with University of East Anglia (UEA), where we provided 24-hour cover over 3 days.

Last week, we supported the university with their Uni Unlocked, which supports younger school kids to get an idea of what University is like, make new friends, and learn new skills they can take on with them for a lifetime.

We look forward to supporting them further in the future!

What a weekend for our team 👏
Over the past week, we’ve been proud to provide medical cover across three different counties, supporting everything from motocross and motorbikes to go-karting, horse riding, and working alongside our industry partners at family shows; here are a couple of snippets of what we have been up to.

We’ve also deployed Senior Paramedics who are highly experienced clinicians who also work within the NHS. The Paramedics from this weekend are clinical supervisors; they play a vital role in ensuring both new and existing emergency staff are clinically competent and delivering safe, effective care using the most recent guidelines.

It’s been a busy one, but as always, our team delivered wherever they were needed. Their professionalism, adaptability, and commitment don’t go unnoticed.

A huge thank you to everyone involved. Another strong weekend doing what we do best.

Weekend Recap.

Last weekend we supported events across 4 different counties with professional medical cover.

Our team had great fun looking after all the event participants and spectators and it looks like the fun didn’t stop there with some of the horses joining in for some fun with their neeigh-bour (I’m told they do this a lot).

Over the weekend we provided a range of staff from first responders to senior paramedics, all with the right equipment and expertise for the job!
