What a week we have had. The students have been learning about Freud and applying his theory to every day events. I cannot believe how had the students are working on their self awareness and their awareness of others. So proud of you all, so well done. We are nearly at the end of their first term, I am really looking forward to our next term

Our students have had a hard week. The work on self can be painful and bewildering. Staying with those feelings, exploring and with gentle curiosity the journey begins. Well done, it is not easy and very challenging, and very worth it. Be kind to yourself and rest

Our students have been working hard, they have been studying Erik Erikson this week. They are expanding their knowledge of self, and learning how to use immediacy in the therapeutic relationship. Well done, looking forward to next week

The students have been working very hard this week. We have started learning about Carl Rogers and Person Centred Counselling. We are prepped for three assignments; and had our first experiential group. Very well done to you all, have a good half term you all deserve it.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to The Royal Family, following the news about the passing of Her Majesty The Queen. Our thoughts are with The Royal Family, and we will join all others who will be reflecting on her historic reign.

Dr Nikos Savvas, CEO of the Eastern Colleges Group incorporating West Suffolk College, Abbeygate and One Sixth Form Colleges and University Studies at West Suffolk College, said: "We will remember Queen Elizabeth for her life of service and her commitment to her country - she was an extraordinary public servant during her 70 year reign. At this most personal of times, our thoughts are with her family."
